Contact Form Privacy Notice

This notice explains how the personal data of people who complete the contact form at akatur.com.tr is processed under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “Law”).
1. Data controller
Akahan Turizm Pazarlama Tarım Gıda İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Akahan Turizm”), Cinnah Caddesi No: 75/2, Çankaya / Ankara.
2. Personal data processed
When you complete and submit the form, the following data is processed:
- Identity: your first and last name
- Contact: your e-mail address and phone number
- Customer transaction: your organisation (optional), the subject you select (optional), your message (optional) and the correspondence with you that follows your message
- Transaction security: a hashed form of the IP address the form was sent from, created with a secret key, and the time of submission. The form does not store the IP address itself. As with any website, our hosting provider’s servers keep the IP address and request time in their access logs for the period set by the provider.
Please do not enter special categories of personal data, such as health information, in the message field.
3. Purposes of processing
- Answering your questions and quote requests about our services, and contacting you for this purpose
- Carrying out the quotation and contract processes if your request leads to a service
- Preventing misuse of the form and maintaining system security
Your data is not used for marketing, profiling or advertising, and is not subject to automated decision-making.
4. Legal basis
Your personal data is processed on the following grounds under Article 5(2) of the Law:
- Identity, contact and customer transaction data: (c), processing is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract, provided that it relates directly to that contract. Questions and quote requests about our services fall within this scope.
- Transaction security data: (f), processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
We do not rely on your explicit consent to process your data.
5. Transfers of personal data
- Hosting provider. The site and our e-mail service are hosted on our hosting provider’s servers in Türkiye. When you submit the form, your message is delivered by e-mail to info@akatur.com.tr through this infrastructure.
No other transfers to third parties take place. This does not affect disclosures to public authorities where required by law.
6. Method of collection
Data is collected electronically from your own declaration when you complete and submit the contact form. Transaction security data is collected automatically on the server side. Information you give us in the correspondence that follows your message is also processed within this scope.
7. Retention
The content of the form is not written to a file or database on the site or the server; it is only sent by e-mail to info@akatur.com.tr and kept there.
Messages are kept for two years from the date they are answered. Correspondence that leads to a commercial relationship is kept for ten years from the end of that relationship. Messages whose period has expired are deleted in the periodic destruction carried out every six months.
The hashed IP address and submission time are used for one hour; expired records are deleted the next time the form is used.

8. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and, if it is, to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, and deletion or destruction where the conditions are met; to request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred; to object to a result against you arising solely from analysis by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing.
You can send your request in writing by e-mail to info@akatur.com.tr from the e-mail address you gave in the form, or in person or by post to Cinnah Caddesi No: 75/2, Çankaya / Ankara.
Requests are concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest. Where the action requires additional cost, a fee may be charged in line with the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
In the event of any inconsistency, the Turkish text prevails.
